Ecuador, the country I refer to as “my first home” is not really unknown territory for me after spending there 13 years of my life. First living there as a child and later as a volunteer for a Flemish NGO, there is no doubt the country has influenced my life in a positive way, so I’m thrilled to go back to my Pachamama.
This time I’m heading to Quito as a Junior Assistant to work in the Program for Rural Development in the North. During the next 12 months I will assist the program at the communication level, as well as implement the Communication for Development (C4D) principles in the five Northern provinces.
