International Women’s Day in Quy Nhon |
As you might know, it was International Women’s Day, last Monday March 8.
The Vietnam Women Union ofcourse organised a lot of activities. What happens here in Vietnam is that all the men cook for their wifes, female employees get flowers, are invited for breakfast by their employer etc etc. Women’s Day is a big thing!
The Women Union of Binh Dinh Province had invited some women to a show on Quy Nhon Television. One of those invited women were a couple of international female volunteers working in Quy Nhon. A Korean and Lao girl and me were interviewed about our work here, and our impressions of Vietnam and the Vietnamese women… Ofcourse only good things to say
